Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice designed to bring the body and mind into a state of deep rest. Unlike a traditional yoga class, there is no movement involved. Participants simply lie down comfortably and are guided through a series of awareness techniques that help settle the nervous system, quieten the mind and encourage deep rest while remaining gently aware.

Many people initially come to the practice because they’re struggling with sleep difficulties, stress, anxiety, overthinking or simply finding it difficult to switch off. As there is no movement involved and no previous experience required, it is accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Over the last few years, Yoga Nidra has gained increasing attention for its potential benefits in supporting relaxation, stress management, sleep quality and overall wellbeing. What I particularly love about the practice is that it offers people a practical and accessible way to rest deeply in a world where many of us spend much of our time feeling busy, overstimulated and “on.”
